Overview
GoodUp is built for personal practice and privacy. We do not collect, transmit, or store your records on GoodUp servers. This policy explains what stays on your device and what never leaves it.
What we collect
We do not collect personal data, analytics events, advertising identifiers, or behavioral signals. The app contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs that receive your private entries.
Local storage
Records about giving, acts of care, promises, reflections, reminders, and preferences are stored locally on your iPhone using iOS system storage, protected by device encryption.
If the app is removed, local data is removed with it. We keep no server copy for recovery.
Family Circle
If you use Family Circle, data is exchanged directly between devices using local Apple connectivity. It does not pass through a GoodUp server.
Reflections
Your weekly reflections are stored on your device alongside your records. They are never uploaded, shared, or read by us.
Notifications
GoodUp reminders are local notifications on your device. They require no remote push server or third-party delivery provider.
Exports
When you export data, you choose the destination yourself. The privacy of an exported file then depends on the app or storage you selected.
Children
GoodUp is not directed to children under 13. Because the app creates no remote profiles, there is no server-side profile built from your entries.
Policy updates
If our data practices change, this page and its effective date will be updated. Any material change involving remote data collection will be disclosed clearly in advance.
